I write about the parts of a life that don’t fit in one place.
I’m Marcela. I moved from São Paulo to Canada with my life in two suitcases, and I’ve been learning ever since what it means to carry two worlds at once.
For too long I tried to fit in one place: logical or emotional, corporate or casual, professional or personal. Then I realized that in life we are both, and all those little parts of us deserve to be honoured and celebrated. This site is where I keep my personal reflections — essays on identity, life transitions, capacity, belonging, and building an integrated life.
